CEO seems arrogantly hell-bent on throwing away the owners money on massive projects that continuously fail. A care homes model that has now totally crashed and burnt, and a Hub and Spoke system that was doomed from the outset - but rather than listen to customers the company persisted in ploughing on and wasting millions on it. It’s now also been ditched. The latest way of pouring Bestway’s cash down the drain is a huge ‘Digital’ team who have been employed for a year and delivered nothing. Morale is on the floor - thanks to the arrogant and out of touch senior leadership. Company is still making money in spite of the Exec, not because of it To make things worse they continually write articles in the Pharmacy press describing how great we (they) are. YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY!

- Aggressive and bullying management techniques - Salary isn't competitive for professionals - You're definitely a number - not a person - Benefits have been stripped back to the point that unless you're senior management or on the exec, you don't get anything. They will try to win you round with the odd 'BBQ'. I don't want the burger thanks. - Poor communication - Promises of progression for a number of years... received none - Pay rises for senior leadership team but anything lower than that, then good luck! - They're trying their hardest to not be the co-op but have ended up being worse than them. - Poor support from HR and management. If you're sick (even if that includes being in hospital for already planned operations) then expect to have yourself hauled into a meeting to explain why you haven't been in the office.
