For starters, this company opened its doors on January 2nd. Since January 2nd, there have been a total of 14 employees. In under FOUR months, 11/14 have either quit or been fired. The expectations are set too high for an entry level recruiting position. They expect you to be a top recruiter right away, if you aren't, they'll let you know. The other 3 employees make up 2 senior people brought over from the parent company and a support specialist.
Micromanaging is an understatement. You will constantly be receiving emails on what to do, who to call, and if you aren't calling these providers right away, you will get a passive aggressive email telling you to do so. You're told to call providers on jobs they've already mentioned they weren't interested in. The goalposts are changed all the time and we have no clear metrics. Management cares more about having 20-25 completed calls with 0 people interested than having 5-10 completed calls with all 5-10 people interested. Management cares more about volume than anything else including meaningful production. The goals do not make sense here.
The general atmosphere felt very tense and toxic. Not to mention that almost everyone felt extremely uncomfortable with management literally looking over your shoulder at all times.
All the new hires are young and management treated us like children. There is no flexibility. 8-5:30 Monday-Friday. 45 hours a week and you get a 30 minute lunch break.
Glassdoor prohibits specific details about sales numbers which is totally fine, but I can confidently say that the "robust sales growth" comment as was mentioned by managements response in the other review is a gross exaggeration.
