Attrition - due to the above at least one person left or was fired every month (out of a total of 20 people) 4. Salary - hire people from third world countries so you can pay them pennies 5. Chaos and lack of direction - their product or future roadmap is just give me a product comparable to google at a speed OpenAI ships while you get paid like TCS. This causes unrealistic expectations with no north star and changing priorities every week. 6. Incompetence - founder and C-suite are clueless about AI, what it can do or its current state. He'll listen to an ai founder interview talking about AI replacing employees in a year and start downsizing. The CTO is just as incompetent and too spineless to push back
