    Pros

You will work with some kind, friendly, smart and dedicated individuals who are happy to share their knowledge.

    Cons

There was unfortunately some toxic cultural problems from middle management upwards which needs to change. If you can look past this then it is a nice place to work.

    Advice to Management

Need to take care of the underlying bullying and toxic culture.

I have been working at Western Power full-time

    Pros

The amount of people being restructured or made redundant is creating new roles which allow fast career progression.

    Cons

No job security as you can easily become one of those to be let go. Customer focus has become a political tool for resume padding at the compromise of corporate objectives and good practice. Poor accountability and lack of defined processes across functions due to the ongoing restructure carousel.

    Advice to Management

Hire more staff, the volumes of ongoing overtime are never met with appropriate undertime, leading to turnover and bad morale.
