Coworkers were wonderful, owners were very kind and thoughtful, and I appreciated the vision behind the company.
Cons
Easily the worst management team I have ever dealt with. Little to no effort in employee training, caused spread of misinformation, and issues consistent self-conflicting demands. We stayed open for several weeks while a ton of mold was growing underneath the ice machine due to a leak that had been reported multiple times. Once a replacement pipe came in, a fellow, unqualified teammate ended up having to fix the ice machine since no one was informed on what to do or if anyone would be coming to fix it. Not to mention we had to clean so much mold (that you could literally smell upon walking into the store). Multiple instances of higher-ups talking about employees negatively to others for irrational reasons, and reports of the instances were not addressed adequately. Had at least 6 other coworkers quit within a week or so of my own resignation, even had someone quit on their third day because of the lack of training and care that goes into making sure people are aware of what's going on. Genuinely felt like dealing with "highschool drama" when it comes to management, which is embarrassing to say the least.
