Pros

Can pick up for starters as a stepping stone

No career challenge No HR department which means you need to expect no benefits and no way to resolve issues except with your reporting officers or co-founders, which may not be neutral Co-founders flip flops and overwrites managers so there is no autonomy and messy hierarchy

Pros

Nothing good about the company other than flexible working hours due to nature of my job scope.

Cons

Management has no proper HR department or Finance Department. Was promised a role in Marketing, got switched to Business Development in the next month. Company has no direction. Decided to ask me to leave due to lack of investor funding. But decided to undermine the work I have done for the company despite helping them to reform the Business Development Department which had no manager initially and was not running properly for close to 2 months. Upon leaving the company, they delayed payment of my final salary and had to twist and turn stories in order to pay me lesser than what is stated in contract and by the Employment Act.

Thank you for your feedback about WhyQ. We understand that due to the very limited time and exposure you have had with WhyQ, you have incorrect perceptions about our company culture and nature of work. Some of our team members have worked with us since we launched the company over a year ago, and we consider them to be our Co-founders. Also want to reply to a few factually incorrect statements - 1- Letting go of you is not related to funding in any way. We're actively looking to hire your replacement and hoping to find someone with more knowledge and experience. 2- We moved you around to a couple of different roles after discussing it with you, seeing as how you were struggling to cope. However, having given you a chance to work on both open roles we had to let you go after you weren't able to deliver anything on either role. 3- Your pay was settled in accordance with MOM guidelines As a startup, it's common to not have legal/HR/Finance divisions. It's also common to move around and try different roles, that's what makes working at a startup like ours exciting. This is something that we clearly shared with you during your interview too. We wish you all the best and hope that you can discover what you enjoy working on in your professional life.

Pros

Help hawkers seller for online delivery

Cons

Firstly they take ages to top up your float, expect you to use your own money. After you use your own money they do not reimburse your money! Lousy admin. Poor coordination. We are not your friend or bank where you ‘borrow’ our money and earn it as your profit.
