Pros

Initially, a genuinely empowering and encouraging culture. Strong sense of collaboration and enjoyment in earlier days. Attractive employee perks offered. Friendly, kind team and great brand mission.

Cons

Change in leadership led to a toxic work environment. Culture shifted from supportive to divisive, with employees pitted against each other. Workloads tripled without clarity on priorities, objectives, or capacity. Feedback was not handled professionally nor taken into account. Perks often acted as a distraction from the reality of burnout and poor leadership practices.

Disappointing end to a role I was passionate about

Pros

Purpose-driven brand with a meaningful mission in women’s health. Talented and passionate people across the wider team.

Cons

A noticeable cultural shift after changes in leadership - what was once a collaborative and positive environment became tense, hierarchical, and far less enjoyable. New senior hires lacked emotional intelligence and didn’t seem to understand or value the existing team dynamic. Lack of transparency in leadership decisions. Poor communication around internal restructures. HR processes felt reactive and not employee-focused during difficult moments. Very limited career development and lack of feedback culture. A growing disconnect between the brand values and how the business operates internally.

Toxic culture despite outward appearance

Pros

Decent perks, like half off supplements

Cons

Perks don’t make up for an actual culture of care and respect. I agree with the past reviews - top heavy, lack of communication, exec team doesn’t listen to feedback, campaigns thrown together, no chances of climbing the ladder. Feels very profit before people.
