- Can't ask too many questions (they straight up tell you not to ask too many questions.)
- Gaslighting is very common here. I've been told on my first day that people often get set up for failure here in more ways than none, and it becomes very obvious right from the get-go.
- Very biased against new hires, especially if you can't speak Cantonese or Mandarin.
- Very controlling work environment (if you don't do anything exactly like how they want it done, you WILL be reprimanded. If you forget, expect to be reprimanded even MORE.)
- Favoritism and employee bias is very much present. The company scrutinizes new hires VERY closely, and there's no room for error at all. If you don't meet their expectations by the end of your probation period, then I'd start looking for another job and tending your resignation. They won't give you a warning when they do it for you.
