Pros

A "wonderland" for practicing a "believe"! Reaching the unreachable! High job security if you're not working directly with CEO.

Cons

- Horrible CEO, top management and department heads, with no vision and strategies. - Addicted to meetings. Endless meetings with no agenda, no objectives, no directions, no end-to-end processes, no execution plans, no follow-up plans. Everything is a priority. Nothing can be finished, accomplished and achieved. Endless looping the same issue year over year. - Addicted to hire. Never values a staff. You can always be replaced. - Addicted to self-defense and excuses. No guts to take up any responsibilities. - Addicted to power. Deep rooted top down micro management approach. - Addicted to self-satisfaction. "Yes Man" culture, not tolerating anyone's ideas. - Addicted to gossip. You will be judged by your peers more than your ability. Bad mouth every single staff who left the company. - Addicted to blame. You will be blamed for not executing unapproved plans. - Addicted to outdated policies. You will be asked to propose but never take a step forward. If you are investing your time to learn, you will end up learning nothing. If you are investing your time to make a change, you will end up losing everything.

Pros

Not that I can think of

Cons

Only 2 people were considered top management - The CEO and the COO. The culture of the company is toxic - all the decisions were made by them. It is very hard to say that the company is working as a team, because the company only goes as far as the CEO and COO goes. Decision were solely made by them. In my opinion, they are lacking the management skill that are required by senior management. They only managed by their authority, threatened to fire people if they don't perform or follow instructions. They tends to micro-manage and spend LOTS of time in meetings. They are lacking the charisma of leaders, lack of company visions, lack of technical skills and lack of communication skills / strategy alignment. This create confusing direction of the company and ultimately super high employee turnover rate. The company is in the midst of transformation, but the execution of the company is weak. Different department is working on their own, lack of collaborations. The company is constantly in the loop of raising funds and the CEO fall short of taking the company to IPO.

Pros

If you just want to get paid and not looking for any job satisfaction or accomplishment. This may not be too bad for your.

Cons

- Horrible top management. CEO is inconsistent to herself while COO has emotion like a 3 year old kid. - Horrible consistency. Top management change their strategies and directions every single day. Thus, nothing can be accomplished. Horrible vision. You will be asked for ROI for any action to be taken, but the ROI in the eyes of top management are only sales revenue in like two calendar weeks. - Horrible value of staffs. Top management don't treasure staffs as important asset results in crazy staff turnover rate. - Horrible micro management. Self-explained - Horrible turn around time. Top management like micro-management while they are not handson people. They like getting involved in every single little task but they are not responsive enough to speed up any process. In the contrast, they are slowing everything down. - Horrible job satisfaction. Nothing can be accomplished. Nothing can be done. Nothing can be finished but you will be asked for results.
