Pros

Work intensity wasn't high and lower level coworkers were friendly

Cons

Absolutely terrible management who give very little direction and training while simultaneously being abrasive and micromanaging. This company fakes positive Glassdoor reviews too (notice how there were no reviews from May 9th 2024 to Feb 7th 2025 and as soon as there's a bad review, 3 great reviews pop up with generic positive chatgpt responses) The average lifespan of a new employee here is less than 1 year (I can count 6 employees in 2024 that left less than 6 months after starting) If you want to see the true face of the company, feel free to search up the CEO's Instagram as well. He posts terrible content with obviously botted like counts. I have no positive words for working here. Either run or keep interviewing for other jobs so you have the option to run after you realize your mistake.

Pros

Nice colleagues, a stable albeit low paycheck as a 1099 worker despite working 40+ hours a week

Cons

Disorganized management, Profit-focused CEO to the point of employee negligence (contracting workers as 1099 in lieu of W2 when they work 40+ hours to avoid paying benefits), No clear path to growth (and why would you even want to given the over-worked, underpaid culture?)

Xenon Health Response

Poor performance throughout. Decided to work from home on their own without my approval (and I let this person do so out of kindness). Poor communication skills. Failed to respond to team members trying to reach this person multiple times. Fled the country without prior notification and told us that they would not be returning. Would not respond to inquiries as to why they fled. Weeks later starting texing and calling demanding their job back.

Pros

Some team members were supportive and made the environment more bearable day-to-day. Offers entry-level exposure to industry-specific systems and workflows. If you've been checking in, you may have noticed changes in reviews and comments. Let's examine.

Cons

The culture is dominated by micromanagement and surveillance. Employees are monitored remotely by a big brother figure, including activity such as mouse clicks, which are prioritized over actual job performance or KPIs. Working from home is discouraged, even with the same monitoring systems in place, creating unnecessary rigidity and stress. Promotions tend to favor those who can tolerate the dysfunction rather than those who demonstrate leadership or skill. Many managers appear to be selected based on tenure rather than merit. If one department requires three managers, perhaps it is time to reevaluate. Leadership behavior has raised serious concerns. There have been instances where under employee reviews, company leaders left comments —some of which inappropriately referenced health-related matters or speculated about who authored the reviews. While these comments were later deleted, the fact that they were made at all shows a lack of professionalism and respect for employees. Employees have reportedly been encouraged to submit overly positive reviews to drown out more critical or honest ones, which further undermines transparency. International employees, particularly those on work visas, may find themselves in precarious positions. Employment can end abruptly, with little to no communication or support. Diversity, while present in surface-level metrics, does not appear to be meaningfully embraced in terms of actual inclusion of all backgrounds
