Clientele is good, and family food is tasty.
Cons
Dining room is often empty. You’ll get cuts. Shifts get reduced last minute. Income is inconsistent. Earning potential is capped. There’s a ceiling on hourly pay, regardless of how busy it gets. Tip pool isn’t transparent. No clear breakdown. Hard to tell if you’re being paid fairly. Management still expects a lot no matter the volume. There’s a gap between how the place presents itself and how it actually runs. Turnover seems high. Not surprising. Just pay attention during the interview. Go with your gut.
