Pros

- You can do many different projects in a short time which will help you grow and learn, very nice if you are a junior employee. - You will be able to see the teams and projects of many finance clients, which helps you understand the Finance industry in NL. - Because the company is very small, the processes are fast. It has this advantage compared to a big corporate. - You can take initiatives in the company, since there are many things to be done, you can start your own thing and lead it.

Cons

- Very low salary. Company makes millions but employees do not get compensated accordingly. Especially for designers and developers you always earn 20-30% less than what the client pays for the same project to their own employees. - You have to be friends with the key people. The managers, directors, leads are usually all white Dutch middle-aged people, and you have to be liked by them to get what you want. You wouldn't enjoy this if you are an expat or if you previously worked for a big company with a structure. - It is not uncommon to see nephews or relatives of key people doing an internship at the same company. Which is for me was strange to see, even if they are all nice people. - Unclear criteria for promotion and salary increase. And hard to increase your salary with the very minor yearly increases. However the company has the mentality that salary is not the focus and the focus is doing stuff. Therefore I believe it is only good for juniors. - No bonus, even if you bring a new idea to the table and it gets sold to a client, you don't get any bonus out of it (as a designer or developer) - You don't get recognition if you are not liked by the key people. Even if you deliver the best project on your own and make money for the company, some other person who is friends with the key people will get public recognition. - Less flexibility in choosing your projects in the first few years. Even if you dont like a project, you might have to stick with it.
