Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your experience at Zattoo over the past 5-7 years. We appreciate you highlighting the positive aspects of flexible working hours and part-time home office. We understand the concern raised in the review. While there has been an instance where a woman’s employment ended after parental leave, we want to clarify that this was the result of a broader organizational restructuring, in which her specific role was eliminated. Unfortunately, despite careful consideration, we were unable to offer a suitable alternative position within the company. This decision was not related to her parental leave, but part of a bigger structural change across the whole company. We remain firmly committed to supporting all employees, including those returning from parental leave, and to ensuring fair, respectful, and equitable treatment at every stage of employment.

While separations are sometimes unavoidable, we always seek to explore every possible option to keep someone on board, whether that means moving to a different team or providing learning opportunities. When these options are not possible or do not succeed over time, a separation may be the only course of action. Management is inexistent, people are promoted based on friendship instead of skills, and too many rules made it hard for the company to improve and grow

Management Presence: We are sorry to hear that you had the impression that the management was not adequately involved. However, our management team is actively involved in both the execution of the strategic and the daily operations, and makes a concerted effort to engage with employees through regular meetings, feedback and Q&A sessions, and an open-door policy to ensure effective management and support. Promotion Process: We take great care in ensuring that promotions are based on skills, performance, and contributions. Promotions at Zattoo are based on merit, performance, and skills. Company Policies: Our policies play a crucial role in supporting operational efficiency and compliance. We understand that rules and policies can sometimes feel restrictive, so we are cautious about implementing them and strive to keep them to a minimum. However, necessary policies are in place to maintain a structured and supportive work environment. Our aim is to create a framework that helps both individuals and the company grow effectively and we constantly review them to ensure they align with our goals of continuous improvement.
