The founder is heavily micromanaging and changes directions almost every week, which makes it impossible to stay focused or plan anything long-term. The environment is chaotic — priorities shift constantly, and people are expected to deliver results literally in their second week. Two sales team members have already left, within just a few months of being hired, and it’s not surprising given there are no benefits, no bonuses, and no clear incentives even for revenue-generating teams. People don’t feel valued or appreciated, and there’s zero sense of recognition for hard work. The so-called “wellbeing allowance” of €40 (recently increased to €60 after complaints) is so heavily restricted in what it can be used for that almost no one actually uses it. Management lacks transparency and often withholds information, while at the same time bringing in external “advisors” who don’t understand the business but still join meetings to make up random targets. There are no real opportunities for growth or learning, and despite the company not being a startup anymore, it behaves like the worst kind of small startup — disorganized, reactive, and resistant to hiring experienced professionals who could actually fix the mess. Processes are practically non-existent, yet expectations remain sky-high. Overall, it’s a stressful and confusing place to work with little appreciation for effort or expertise.
