Pros

Free parking, decent bonuses, and for the most part, great colleagues.

Cons

The facilities desperately need to be renovated. There are very few toilets that are always disgusting or blocked. The carpet never looks clean even after hoovering, and the kitchens are usually in disarray because employees seldom tidy up after themselves. The smoking area is at the front of the building and is always littered with cigarette butts, which definitely gives a great impression to clients. One of the selling points made in the interview is the free lunch and breakfast that the company provides, but after about two weeks of ham and cheese and sausage rolls on Fridays, it feels very stale and repetitive. If you are bored enough to bring your own food from home, make sure you label it and padlock it because people will take it out of the fridge. When this issue is brought to the attention of upper management, it will always be made out to be your fault - maybe you should have labelled it better, even though everyone is told during induction which foods are available for their consumption. The health care benefits are laughable and there is no sick pay. The hours are also 9-6 with an hour for lunch every day, but employees are expected to take 45 minutes as to go home an hour early on Fridays. Certain departments are understaffed and underpaid - underpaying seems to be a trend here. Roles that require qualifications should not be making less money annually than roles that do not. If a person has gotten a certification, then that certification should earn them more. Additionally, the number of targets that one is expected to meet deserves a higher salary and commission. As for the environment, it is completely toxic. There are a few decent managers, but unless you are lucky enough to get one, you are completely screwed. Most of the management is incompetent and unprofessional. There is very little communication between upper management and employees. Career progression is promised but seldom delivered. HR does not have a clue what they are doing. They struggle to keep up with the high turnover rate, and management isn't receptive to complaints from employees - it is very hard to communicate with the HR department. A lot of the work in HR seems to be delegated to the recruitment team, and they are often expected to perform heavy-weighted tasks that a mere recruiter would never normally be asked to perform. Large issues are not handled well at all, and conflict is brushed under the rug. The general morale is very low - unhappiness seems to be how people bond and what unites the employees. I don't think I ever heard anyone talk about how well their day went or how happy they were in my time there.

Thank you for your review. It does not reflect the general uplifting reviews from other Glassdoor posts. There appears to be a lot of inaccuracies such as your reference to the supply of free lunch of Ham and Cheese - the supply of food is a lot wider than this and that we receive fantastic feedback of salads, breads, meats etc. You mention that the pros are decent bonuses which is great feedback however you state higher commission is deserved elsewhere in your comment. Salaries in Zevas are some of the highest in the sector and we pride ourselves in our work environment as been a preferred Employer of Choice. It is such a pity that you did not bring your perceptions to your Manager or to the HR department as the reality of our employees experiences appears to be very different to yours.

Joke of a Company

Pros

The peers at agent level. The only thing that was good about the company was that everyone else was in the same hell as you. Common understanding united us.

Cons

Scam. We were told we were making a certain amount of money based on the commissions from our sales and then issued subs. At the end of the first quarter, we were informed that our commissions did not go through and that we actually owed the company the money that we had spent. Is that even legal?

Pros

Work from home, not much else

Cons

Call centre job masquerading as a sales roll, insulting salary and commission. Making calls for the sake of call count. Non existing training, poor and old technology. Ever changing staff. Snoop ware employee tracking. Beyond poor quality control, failed calls because pitch wasn't on script even though it was a successful sales call. Could go on. Absolutely zero incentive for staff, embarrassing bonus scheme which will be taken from final paycheck if you leave.

We also work to world Quality standards and it is pity you did not understand the value of this for all our Clients and stakeholders,
