Definitely agree with the other reviewer on some key points like: Having to walk on egg shells and an overall lack of direction due to disorganization.
As an employee, this worried me most as another reviewer indicated and I saw first hand, "People have left or were fired unexpectedly with zero notice leaving some feeling uneasy." Good employees at Zignal have been cut loose for no apparent reason, people everyone (from my estimation) enjoyed working with and were great contributors. Most curious, was several of these employees were fired weeks prior to them being fully vested in their company stock. This was both confusing and frustrating for many, and also scary in terms of job security. No explanation was ever given by management to ease peoples minds, it was like any person let go had never existed.
Overall, there are some other concerning things at Zignal that became very apparent over time. There is a huge conflict of interest between sales, product and outside stakeholders for the direction of the product. This division within the company creates a lot of tension and an incohesive atmosphere. Not to mention timelines and promises to clients being missed due to countless pivots in the product roadmap. (And engineers wasting time on features/updates that get thrown out on a last minute whim)
