Management is a bunch of baboons When your upper management goes on vacation for two weeks and things go SMOOTHER, you know there is a serious problem with management. Only one capable manager in executive team, the rest lie, cover their own mistakes, blame corporate, blame the systems, shout at employees then apologize, don't prepare more than a week out, make no plans for replacing resigning employees till their world catches fire, chronic issues with spending a dollar to save a dime. They change system for managing moves when external issues cause hiccups, then get mad when the new system isn't learned or executed perfectly. Then when mistakes happen, whoops, better change the system again. Poor communication, poor communication everywhere. People cover their butts and cower in fear. in a quarter of a year, 5 employees have either been let go, or have quit because of this issue. Things ranging from managers shouting at employees, not telling them how to do better, constant criticism, asking for solutions, lauding solutions as genius, then never implementing them to backbiting, complaining, lying, passive aggressively increasing workloads. Overall, this place is a hodge podge mess of management. The best example of why this place is a bad place to work is the following event, which was and is not an isolated event. Team is implementing new system, organizing moves in a slightly different way. Upper management is passively observing and when they perceive availability, sell moves and schedule them. Unfortunately, they did not check with the logisitics team for availability during the scheduling transition, and they've now successfully double, triple, and quadruple overbooked assets. When upper management are informed they screwed the pooch their response is "just keep working the problem, you can't say no to any potential business". Overtime, overtime everywhere, spending dollars to earn dimes.
