      Great hand-on internship experience

      Pros

      I was able to work with people and animals and gain hands-on experience with animals and teaching. There is a variety of events and types so you will become a well-rounded educator and public speaker.

      Cons

      You will need to transport yourself to locations, so you need a car for the internship.

      Pros

      Learning about lots of different species. How to care for them, handle them and about their native habitats. The team at Zovargo are also all very supportive and caring. They care and put much time and effort into the people and animals that support the mission.

      Cons

      You have to be dedicated to learning about the animals. Being a good educator is not just being a good speaker. You have to truly know about the animals we're working with! Much information and training is provided but it does help to independently study up on some of the animals too!
