Pros
At cQuant I feel like I have a valuable role in a vibrant start up with great potential. The team is composed of very smart people that also have nice personalities. This results in interesting work that is also fun. Although it is a startup, the company still places value on allowing people to have time in their personal lives and endeavors. Salaries are competitive and they are very flexible around time off. cQuant is trying to disrupt the energy software industry and do things that have never been done in this space. There is dynamic work environment that is fast moving. Salaries are competitive.
Cons
Some of the benefits you would get at a bigger company, or more mature start-up, are not quite there yet, but hopefully coming in the near future.
