Pros

There was one manager who was good; the rest of management are incompetent, callous, and just plain awful people

Cons

Poor pay Poor time off Terrible benefits Inefficient system perpetuated by incompetence at the highest management levels They just laid off the entire content team in one day to save the money that Billy is managing so badly that he has to borrow millions every year or two. So, yeah, there's that.

Pros

Flexible. Smoke breaks every hour.

Cons

Terrible upper management. They hire employees as contractors (W-9) but make them come into office, request time off, and be employees without any benefits. The reason for this is because they don't want to pay taxes. Total IRS fraud. Event the employees get half an hours per pay check PTO. Total joke. Management is always saying how they are going to be billionaires every month and nothing happens for the past 3 years. It's almost sad. High client turn around. Worst pay ever!

Pros

It's a marketing job to put on a resume

Cons

- In short, the company is chaotic, disorganized, and all over the place. - Not a digital marketing agency but a SAAS company that provides digital marketing services as an aside. - Have had two rounds of sudden, massive layoffs because they are backed by investors but aren't profitable. - Constantly changing job duties, deliverables, and expectations every week which makes it difficult to keep up with. - DIY SEO - Extremely limited processes in place, everything is manual with a million spreadsheets floating around. - Provide low-level, sub-par SEO services to unwitting clients. - Low pay in comparison to other SEO titles. - Expected to provide deliverables to 30-60 clients each month. - Made promises of quarterly reviews and raises that weren't delivered. - The "training" is someone stuttering for a few minutes and then you're left to try and figure things out on your own thereafter. - Very limited tools to do your job, I ended up purchasing tools out of pocket so I could better help clients. - Upper management doesn't communicate with lower management before they make major decisions. - No growth opportunities in education or position.
