Pros

- can be an opportunity for growth.

Cons

- extremely high turnover. The board itself is on edge because of the company's inability to retain people - nepotism is rampant. I would mention in more details but am prevented from doing so in order to comply with glass door community rules. Unfortunately favouritism also runs rampant as you can imagine. - 'its a startup' is used freely as a crutch to bad management practises (ex employees have reported the company to the labur union for misbehaviour and harassment at work. if thats not the biggest red flag, i dont know what it is. They also have ungoing legal battles with ex employees for wrongful termination. ) if you need confirmation on any of the above, feel free to reach out to current and ex employees for insight and/or confirmation.

Nightmare

Pros

Hardworking colleagues (operational team) with good intentions.

Cons

It has been a nightmare since the first day. In the first week I already found out that the majority of my colleagues are looking for another job and that the turnover rate is higher than anything I’ve ever seen or heard of. The “cool environment” promises made during the interviews happened to be false as the environment is absolutely toxic, including screaming, inhumain pressure, unreachable expectations from management and “get thing done no matter what” spirit. Furthermore, there are no “roles and responsibilities” beliefs, management expect everyone to do everything, regardless of your field of expertise. Expect to work no less than 10-12 hours a day, otherwise management will see you as lazy; and be ready show quick results, otherwise you will be fired. There are no employment benefits at all, you have base salary and it ends there. No meal vouchers, pension, insurance, etc.

Pros

- Series A startup so you'll have more flexibility in defining your career than you might in, say, any of the Big 4

Cons

The company set up two profiles for their two offices - Luxembourg and Girona. They did so because the luxembourg reviews highlight the true nature of leadership and a real picture of the work environment. - its advertising itself as a remote friendly company, that is untrue. Leadership is kinda shady in that they say that in the contract but have HR or your manager reach out to you if you're working remote. Very intrusive, they will ask why you didnt come to the office in an effort to make it uncomfortable even if you contractually agreed to remote - the organisation is in chaos. Roles, people, organisation structure switch every month. They say its because its a startup but lets be real, no other startup is so chaotic. - check with the employees, lots of them are underpaid, overworked, and looking for a way out. Employees have a very unpleasant intransparent relationship with the leadership. - Nepotism and favouritism is rampant. If you end up joining, make sure you buddy your way to the top. - the company has an ongoing lawsuit for harassment of its employees. People have quit on the spot because of very inappropriate behaviour by the leadership (think screaming, threatening etc)
