I have many skills I sold myself on at interview which aren't being taken advantage of despite me trying to push myself forwards and take on more responsibility.
Line management has far too many layers of hierarchy and my line manager knows no more and has no more power than me. I've had about 5 one-to-ones in the last 16 months and I've just given up asking to have them as I end up just saying the same things over and over - the response from my manager is usually agreeing with me and going on a rant about his own issues - I am not sure why he hasn't left already.
There are people who like to talk a lot but not take actions or make a decision at the end of the conversation.
Even high up people seem to have no power to make changes to the way we work.
The office is not in the city centre which doubles my commute time
