Pros
The company genuinely leans into modern technology and isn't afraid to adopt new tools and approaches. Your peers and teammates are sharp, approachable, and collaborative — there's a real sense of community among the people doing the actual work. If you're self-directed and care about the craft, there's absolutely room to do meaningful work.
Cons
Despite a heavily marketed "Openness with no BS" culture, the reality doesn't always match the branding. Management dynamics can feel surprisingly cliquey — decisions get made around people rather than with them, and there's an undercurrent of political maneuvering that you wouldn't expect from a company that prides itself on transparency. It unfortunately creates the opposite intended effect; an environment where trust is hard to build and easy to lose. Not all parts of the organization move at the same pace. Some teams feel like they've been spinning their wheels for years without meaningful output, which creates a noticeable imbalance when other parts of the company are clearly pushing things forward.
