Employment contracts are the harshest and least employee-friendly I've ever encountered. No guartanteed sick pay, only statutory. You have to agree that your average working time may exceed 48 hours in a week. None of the benefits one would expect in a tech company.
Product/feature decisions seem to often change on a whim during development, with no visibility on rationale, and so the software architecture can be compromised, adding to the mountain of technical debt.
Employees seem to randomly disappear without notice periodically, without even getting the chance to say goodbye. This seems to be a generally known thing that people only whisper about, out of earshot of management. The grievance process is non-existent. They will just boot you out without proper/fair process.
Narcissistic, bullying approach from certain middle management, instilling fear of speaking up about certain things.
