The spark has left the company

Pros

lifeIMAGE was an amazing company when I joined. We had technology and ideas far ahead of the competition, and we had a list of incredibly impressive customers. There were strong leaders across the organization, and while they made missteps, they all had a vision for what we could achieve together. Sadly, their vision was never realized, and things changed for the worst nearly two years ago.

Cons

If you join now, you should know the following facts. All of the founders left the company, and all but one of the original senior leaders left the company. As has been mention in other posts, HR is absolutely part of the problem. I was present when an individual in HR made unsavory remarks about a potential hire. This wasn't behind closed doors, it was out in the open, and it was abhorrent. It's also the small changes that have made the company worse. They once had photos of all the employees on the about page which humanized the company. One of the first changes made by the new leadership was taking all those photos down. It was communicated to the entire company that this was done to make the company seem larger, but it's all smoke and mirrors. The turn over rate is high, and customers are leaving. It's all just such a shame. Through mismanagement they are turning a victory into a defeat, and I have to wonder why they are so unable to see their mistakes. Is it a coincidence that so many long term employees left in droves after the new management team was brought on board? Other positive reviews here attribute the problem to employees unable to accept change. This type of thinking is part of the problem, and it's only contributing to more employees leaving the company.

An increasingly mediocre job

Pros

It's a job. There's free soda. That's about it. Funny how many people talk about the stupid soda. You can pretty much coast day in and day out. I saw lots of new posts because I use the Glassdoor app, so I thought I'd write my review now too.

Cons

I'm thinking of leaving the company because of how depressing it's gotten lately. Many of the people I used to talk to have left the company, so coming into work isn't as fun as it used to be. The location isn't great. Salaries are under market value. That's a pretty standard complaint. I don't want to get into details that might get me fired, but the stuff that has been happening lately is concerning. I know a couple people are going to give their notice soon, and I really don't want to be here after that happens. It's going to be a bigger mess than it already is here.

Pros

Free parking and sodas... a few decent places to eat close by. The lifeIMAGE product itself is good and serves a noble purpose. The pay was decent.

Cons

Constant employee turn around and HR hovering trying to get the dirt! Although it's a dirty job by nature isn't it.
