The training structure is terrible. They try to lull you in treating you ever so nice at the start, being all complimentary and supportive so you overlook the gaps in the training and inconsistencies in the messaging.
They tell you they will support you every step of the way, then throw your first bulk of learners at you. You are then met with the conflict of "This is how you were trained" versus "but... this is how we all do it...". It puts you in an impossible situation as nothing you do will actually be right or good enough.
The morning calls only further enhance the toxic culture where the favourites are put on pedestals, and the rest are made to feel useless and inadequate.
You later discover the favourites are the ones cutting all the corners, breaking all the rules, and working all the hours just to keep up.
KPIs are absolutely unachievable with all the blame for underachievement put firmly at the feet of the PDM.
The support swiftly disappears as you leave the 'academy', IF you leave the academy, most don't last that long.
The toxic culture is met with bullying and sales tactics at every turn. When you start to crack they give up on you, your cards are marked. If you question anything it is turned in you. If you raise concerns about the support given, you just aren't strong enough.
If you care about your learners and learner led provision this isn't the company for you. It's all about pushing as many through as possible regardless of if they are actually learning anything, and if learners slip all t2 care about is kicking them off so they don't screw up the stats.
Your mental health goes downhill with stress? They couldn't care less, or rather they meet you with the "maybe you aren't cut out for this, it's not for everyone" toxicity.
Do yourself a favour, join a reputable learning company who do actually care about their learners.
This place can bring the strongest people down to questioning their existence on earth. You turn into a robot, you break, or you leave.
