Pros

The crew are a pretty OK bunch and the manager is great and tries to be attentive/supportive. Free parking.

Cons

1. Zero training, everything is "pick it up as you go along" 2. Salaries are not the greatest. 3. Career progression, people have to literally leave for any kind or progression or development. 4. We are an outpost in a company and are often forgotten about entirely. Seen the IT crowd episode where everyone and their dog gets thanks for their contribution with the exception of the IT dept? That's us in a nutshell. No one remembers us until there is an issue and then everyone remembers our number. We have been the only team that has carried on throughout the covid situation, so at times it gets very lonely in an empty building. It takes its toll mentally, esp on a night shifts. There are a few of us that are experiencing mental health issues due to the feeling isolation and being cut off from the rest of the company and group.

Low transparency and low salary

Pros

I was lucky enough to be involved in a young, dynamic and funny team, which helped me go on with the daily tasks and lighten the burdens of the work days.

Cons

Salary is below standards, at least for regular employees. Basic benefits, not even food stamps. Admittedly it may depend on the region, but in my experience everything seems confused and obscure when it comes to develop one's abilities, let alone plan a career path. Virtually no project management. HR leaves much to be desired, at least at local level.

Pros

Work from home is literally It

Cons

Too many to mention but highlights are toxicity at high levels back breaking none stop work, managers that offer zero support and are openly out out to criticise. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Would give zero but it won't allow it. In the UK this is namesco widely regarded as one of the worst hosting companies in Europe, they won't tell you that however.
