Not really a con but can spend a lot of time travelling between jobs and occasionally get stuck with traffic and issues caused my weather

No career progression. No training.

No progression, No product training. Expenses never get paid theres always some excuse why they wont pay you. No progression unless you are best friends with management and work all hours. Poor communication skills from line managers. There is always some kind of emergency job that keeps you getting home on time. No work life balance. In all a very poor company to work for and they do not pay that well.

Pay is average and very little that is unique compensation wise. Every employer offers a discount app, pension contributions are low (6% employer) Certain teams are given preferential treatment. Particular department has known about office closures best part of 12 months before anyone else. If you're not part of that team then your concerns aren't listened to

The way information is passed from "back office" to field staff is terrible, often left searching through reams of documents. Very often waiting till the last minute for work information even though jobs are booked often weeks in advance, makes maintaining work life balance very difficult as travel time is never factored into work time. Welfare standards for remote workers is non existent.

Training is very good, however sometimes it can feel onerous with a numerous internal courses.

Working on behalf of local authorities with small timescales on fault rectification, but this can be rewarding and challenging.

Some roles provide minimal training so you have to hit the floor running
