Unfortunately tentree is going under. They have done at least two rounds of layoffs recently. If you happen to land an interview ask them about how they handle layoffs. If they’re honest, the answer won’t make them look good that’s for sure. I’m not sure why it hasn’t clued in that something isn’t working, but nothing has changed. It seems like every quarter departments are asked to decrease their spending. Leadership is underwhelming, staff lacks energy and motivation.. bonus pay is rare, though advertised in job descriptions. P.S pay close attention to the positive reviews. They are being posted within days of negative reviews, which tells me they’re likely coming from employees. I once was told to post a positive review on indeed and glass door by my manager. I said I would but never did. It’s a dishonest practice.

- Co-founder was removed due to valid sexual misconduct allegations - HR is not there to help you but rather to protect the interests of leadership team and the companies shareholders - No upward mobility. 4 years and no promotion or path laid out for career trajectory. - Management is seriously under qualified to do job - Lack of transparency regarding layoffs and reasons for decisions. I was laid off after 4 years and my manager couldn't even have been bothered to have an exit interview with me or do it themselves. These layoffs are common now. - New leadership team came in and conducted minimal effort interviews to determine next round of layoffs and ended up letting go talented and dedicated people as a result. - Requests are last minute and the expectation is that you work to deliver on time regardless. - Impossible to plan ahead because management does not communicate plans effectively. Career opportunities often overlooked because of lack of communication and concern for employees best interests. - Dishonesty about companies values. CEO mentioned multiple times that the companies intention was to "hire the best" meanwhile neglecting existing employees growth and career opportunities. Felt like we were being told we weren't the best but the next wave of employees will be. This was evident in turnover rate due to layoffs. - Bad business model. Creating more textile waste while planting mono crops.
