Pros

Honestly, it used to be great. Everyone loved it. Then, everyone we loved either left or got fired when the CEO started letting a certain board member make decisions for him. It's heartbreaking. Feels like he sold his soul to the devil.

Cons

- For some reason leadership has stooped to all time lows. They're here on Glassdoor bashing employees who have done nothing but try their hardest to help the company by doing the job they were hired to do. - Everyone I used to love to work with is gone. Literally all the people who were trying to move the needle to make this place awesome were fired or left because they were stifled by leadership. - Total lack of support to do your role. They hire you young, pay you pennies by promising "options," "total flexibility," and "the opportunity to get on the ground floor of something big." Used to believe in it, but now I know better. - Operations team works terrible hours, no vacation, no work life balance. Get ready to work holidays, weekends, everything. There is no future in this department, if you're interviewing for this job - run. - I know what you're thinking that "this can't be true" but seriously, find an employee on linkedin and ask them how they like working for zeel. Anyone. Do the homework and you'll find out the truth.

Pros

Company happy hours & events, work from home, some travel, “unlimited” PTO

Cons

Fear-driven. Laid off almost half of the company without warning, left remaining employees even more fearful, overly stressed and overworked, brand new hires and tenured dear friends of many years all unable to understand what just happened. Zero closure or humanity, incredibly disorganized and extremely unprofessional. Offered to answer questions but didn’t provide actual answers - as usual. Toxic, fear-driven, nepotistic, racist; even the most upset of former employees preferred to wipe their hands of everything and move on. What do you expect from a company that tells employees to speak up, then punishes or places a target on their heads for trying? Not too surprised.
