BOOZT PLATFORM CONFERENCE Tech is at the very heart of Boozt and we design and develop all our systems in-house with more than 200 developers employed across five offices in four countries. We strive to be in the forefronts of the latest tech and innovation - challenging ourselves to be more efficient and find better solutions for our business. Sharing our knowledge and learning from one another is a core aspect of our tech department to tackle complex and challenging tasks. Today and tomorrow all our more than 200 developers in our Platform team take time out of their schedule to attend our internal tech conference. And the rest of hashtag#Boozt is invited to listen in and take part too. An amazing effort has been put into the programme by many Boozt employees - and a huge thanks to Hugo Sigurdson and Rebecca Hugo for joining today as external speakers. In the photos you can see the Hyllie and Copenhagen department, the Aarhus department, the Poznan department and the Vilnius department. All coming together to share knowledge, bond, socialise and push each other to be even better by fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Tomorrow we go again; with three tracks filled with workshops and talks. #BooztTech #BooztPTConference
"Had an amazing time today discussing the upcoming #AIAct at our internal tech conference at Boozt! It's vital to keep learning and sharing insights, especially on such hot and impactful topics. Preparing for this session was so fun —balancing the technical deep dive with simplifying the legal nuances. Grateful for the opportunity and for everyone's enthusiastic participation! #boozttech" Arina Tammer on LinkedIn:
"13th Annual Platform Team Conference: Knowledge shared, fun times had! Btw the moose is local, we didn't need to import one from Sweeden this time. #boozttech #teambuilding #conference"
"PROUD That is the word I would use to describe what I have witnessed over the course of the last two days. A full conference created by our own team. We recently moved in to our new location here in Aarhus and we really enjoyed taking part in the 2024 Boozt Platform Conference. We are 224 developers in Boozt; and to be able to come together for two whole days to share knowledge, inspire each other and build connections across our locations in Aarhus, Vilnius, Poznan, Copenhagen and Hyllie is something that makes me proud. Technology is amazing, but it's the people that make it work. Thanks to everyone that helped put this together and the many inspiring speakers - especially those from my office: Peter Lind, Özge Serbest, PhD and Sven Bachmann" Steffan Molbaek Andersen on LinkedIn:
"Every year, Boozt hosts an internal Platform Conference - emphasizing the importance of learning, sharing, and teaching across countries and development areas. This year, I leave wiser, having learned about the effects of insomnia and imposter syndrome, AI law and research opportunities, insights into stability through contract testing, and so much more. What an experience 🚀 #BooztTech" Patrick Ahrentlov on LinkedIn:
"📣 Had an engaging talk today at the Boozt platform conference about our exciting Return Credit project. This initiative is about enhancing our customers’ shopping experience and fostering loyalty. The core idea? Empowering our valued customers to continue shopping with us using money they’ve already spent, even before their refund is processed. This approach addresses a key challenge in the retail industry - the lengthy processing time for returns and refunds. 🔄 But that’s not all! The Return Credit project also offers: A better return refund experience for our customers 🎁 The opportunity to re-order sooner 🛍️ As an in-house solution, it is 100% under our control 🔒 Flexibility for future discount programs 💸 And the best loyalty program around! 🏆 Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and enhance the shopping experience at Boozt." "Yesterday at our Platform conference 💫 my teammate Viktor Pikaev did a nice talk about how to drive changes in the team workflows. His experience in that area is based on his previous job when he was hired as a technical director for a development department in a medium-sized business. Here are the most important things that I learned from his talk: 1. Make Changes Gradually: Implement changes slowly and naturally to avoid overwhelming the team and ensure smooth transitions. 2. Understand Existing Processes: Don't destroy current processes until you fully understand them and have a solid plan for improvement. 3. Prioritize Essentials: Start with the most critical processes, such as task tracking and quality control, before moving to less urgent ones. 4. Build Trust and Credibility: Gain the team’s trust by demonstrating the benefits of changes and maintaining open communication through regular meetings. 5. Delegate and Involve the Team: Ask trusted team members to help introduce new processes and involve the team in discussions to prioritize solutions together. Thank you Viktor Pikaev for sharing it! 🙏 " Ivan Smirnov on LinkedIn:
