Today, we’re proud to share recent enhancements to our Parental Leave Policy, making more benefits available to more people. Some of the features of our Parental Leave Policy now include: • Increasing our paid parental leave to 18 weeks, available whether you’re welcoming a child by birth, adoption, surrogacy or permanent kinship or foster care. • Removing primary/secondary labels and making paid parental leave accessible from the first day you join HCF. • Superannuation contributions on paid and unpaid leave up to 52 weeks. • Introducing up to 5 days of paid leave for pregnancy loss, acknowledging the challenges some families face on the road to parenthood. • Recognising the important role that grandparents often play, with up to 5 days of grandparent leave. • Adding more flexibility around returning to work. These changes support HCF’s 2nd year of Family Friendly Workplace accreditation.
