We're still buzzing with excitement from our Lunar New Year celebration at our NCS Hub! A festive blend of tradition and fun, the celebration included a vibrant lion dance performance, Chinese calligraphy, mini games, and a unique life-sized Snake and Ladders game that brought out everyone's competitive spirit and sense of unity. As we embrace the Year of the Snake, we're energised and ready to embrace new opportunities and achieve our goals together! 🍊🍊
Last week, we successfully wrapped up our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for Government-to-Citizen (G2C) Symposium at NCS Hub, together with GovTech Singapore, CPF Board, Salesforce and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This event is also part of our continual tripartite collaborations with Salesforce and AWS. The symposium opened with our Deputy CEO and Chief Executive of Gov+, Sam Liew setting the stage on the evolution of G2C services, and concluded with our Growth Lead of NEXT, Boon Kiat Wong, moderating a fireside chat on SaaS as a catalyst for public good. Together with government agencies, service providers, and public sector professionals, we explored how SaaS solutions are revolutionising public service delivery by reshaping citizen engagement and enabling frictionless, data-driven experiences. As part of the sharing, CPFB presented our vastly successful collaboration on NICE 2.0, showcasing how our expertise in Salesforce, Amazon Connect implementation in Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) 2.0 enabled CPFB to transform its service capabilities, providing CPFB officers with a consolidated view of customer profiles and interactions across all touchpoints, while offering CPFB members a more seamless experience. Another highlight was GovTech’s insightful sharing on the different “layers of consideration” when adopting SaaS solutions — emphasising the importance of thoughtful strategy to position ourselves for success.
We’re igniting the future of the next generation of tech innovators! 👩💻 Last weekend, in collaboration with Ministry of Social and Family Development, Singapore (MSF) ComLink+, our Gov+ team equipped a group of bright young minds from Primary 4 to 6 with essential digital skills at our N-able Me! workshop. From exploring the creative world of Canva to the exciting frontiers of AR/VR, cybersecurity, and generative AI, the students had a full day of fun, curiosity, and learning. They engaged in hands-on activities, collaborated with peers, and were inspired by the possibilities of technology. 💡 A big thank you to the CEO of Singapore Post, Shahrin Abdol Salam, PBM for gracing the event with an inspiring speech, and the dedicated volunteers who contributed to creating a positive and engaging learning platform for our young learners. We're shining light on mental health by embracing techforgood to address one of the most common concerns today – financial stress. 💰 In support of this initiative, our Gov+ team volunteered at Ministry of Manpower's World Mental Health Day at Penjuru Recreation Centre. The team hosted interactive booths and shared educational posters, brochures, and guided quizzes to empower migrant workings with knowledge on protecting their financial well-being, covering two key topics: Financial Literacy and Scam Awareness. Using Generative AI (Gen AI), the interactive quiz is translated into eight languages—Tamil, Bengali, Bahasa Indonesia, English, Tagalog, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Thai—to ensure broad accessibility for migrant workers. This initiative aligns with NCS's vision to leverage AI for the benefit of Singapore society through our NCS-AWS Generative AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) for public good, which aims to serve the community. We are honoured to leverage on our tech solutions to help create a safer, healthier and more inclusive society. 🤝

What an incredible time spent at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Day exploring how the public sector can power data-driven experiences and achieve sustainable outcomes with generative AI! ✨ We showcased how our recently launched NCS x AWS GenAI CoE for Public Good can be tapped on to accelerate GenAI adoption, and explored solutions like our Transcription & Summarizer, AI-Powered Cloud Contact Centre on Amazon Connect, and more. In addition, we also wrapped up an insightful sharing session by our Practice Lead of Data & AI Strategy, Shaurya Bhasin, on overcoming AI adoption challenges in the public sector.
It was a Sunday well spent for a good cause! 🏃♂️ The 16th Singtel-Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer, aims to raise awareness and funds for cancer patients and their families. A hundred of our people, both physically and virtually, put on their running shoes to show their support for the resilience and bravery of cancer warriors and guardians.
