It was truly an event filled with joy, excitement, and tons of laughter. It was a great initiative that allowed partners to share their work environment and experiences with their families. Here’s what was arranged for everyone on the day. ⚓ Magic show ⚓ Hula hoop artist ⚓ Drawing competition which captured the hearts and minds of the children ⚓ Food stalls which included popcorn stalls and chocolate fountains The day concluded on a high note as partners and their children took center stage for some heartwarming performances. It was so nice to see all the children showcase their talents and skills in front of all the attendees at the Celebrate Life event, leaving their families with a sense of pride. “We are proud of the efforts of our Working Families Business Resource Council India team and wish to thank them for putting together an event that impacted our partners and families and one that truly reflect our culture of care.” Grace Mary Vasanthi, Executive Sponsor - Working Families India Chapter. #MadeForGreater #LifeAtNT
Niall Breslin and A Lust For Life at Northern Trust Ireland 💚 Earlier this week, our team in Dublin through the support of our employee-led Abilities Business Resource Council hosted an incredible fireside chat with one of Ireland’s most inspiring mental health advocates and co-founder of the mental health charity A Lust For Life, Niall Breslin (Bressie). On the day he was joined by further panellists Bernie Keogh Managing Director of A Lust For Life and Ray Carolan Co-Founder of The Rising to discuss mental health and early preventative education. The panel, which was introduced by Melíosa O'Caoimh, Country Manager Northern Trust Ireland, discussed the founding of A Lust for Life and what it’s achieving by focusing on early prevention education. The impact they wish to achieve is to create a generational circuit breaker in how we talk about and treat mental health in Ireland, by giving children and young people tools and skills to enhance and protect their mental health from the earliest age. Bressie and the team discussed their marathon challenge last year and their even bigger challenge ‘The Rising 2024’. On September 8th, together with a group of friends which includes Northern Trust partners, Bressie is embarking on an incredible journey, kayaking the River Shannon, cycling from Limerick to Carrauntoohil and hiking Ireland’s highest peak to raise awareness and vital support. #MadeForGreater #LifeAtNT #TheRising2024
