This year, Rheinmetall is once again one of Germany's most attractive employers in two categories: IT and engineering. These awards illustrate the great interest students have in Rheinmetall. Around 39,000 students from 235 German universities took part in the annual Universum Student Survey. The survey reflects various statements made by the students, e.g. on the company's attractiveness, the students' long-term career goals and the employer characteristics that the students value. Rheinmetall's Graduate Program 2022 offers university graduates (m/f/d) in technical, natural and economic sciences the opportunity, to spend a year preparing for specialist, project and management tasks at various locations, some of them international, and in individually coordinated departments through seminars and networking events. Our common goal is to offer them permanent employment after a successful completion of their studies. (https://www.rheinmetall.com/en/rheinmetall_ag/career_1/graduateprogram2022/index.php)
Today's German Diversity Day at Rheinmetall is also under the motto "Showing the flag for diversity". This is the tenth time that the Diversity Charter has initiated the German Diversity Day. As a signatory of the Diversity Charter, Rheinmetall has been committed to equal opportunities and appreciation in the workplace since 2017. Today, Rheinmetall is taking a special look at the issue of unconscious bias. An online training course answers questions on possibilities for change and on how to deal with the issue personally. Chief Human Resources Officer Peter Sebastian Krause engages in a direct exchange with employees on the topic of diversity during an online Diversity Talk. As part of the Global Diversity Challenge - a Group-wide photo competition - employees had the opportunity to discuss team-typical motifs and creatively depict the diversity in their teams. #rheinmetall #teams #diversity #success
