Last Friday, 29 July Rheinmetall employees in Brisbane joined forces with Legacy Brisbane, Brisbane Roar FC and the Australian Army in support of a Backyard Assist to help 90 year-old war widow, May McGrath. Today's German Diversity Day at Rheinmetall is also under the motto "Showing the flag for diversity". This is the tenth time that the Diversity Charter has initiated the German Diversity Day. As a signatory of the Diversity Charter, Rheinmetall has been committed to equal opportunities and appreciation in the workplace since 2017. Today, Rheinmetall is taking a special look at the issue of unconscious bias. An online training course answers questions on possibilities for change and on how to deal with the issue personally. Rheinmetall has received several major orders from a NATO customer to supply components for force protection equipment. The orders are worth a total of nearly €250 million gross.
