May is European Diversity Month. We are taking this as an opportunity to share facts on various dimensions of diversity at Sartorius over the next four weeks. How many nationalities work in the company, how old are our people, and where does Sartorius stand in terms of gender distribution? We are going to address all of this. You don’t talk about age? We do, because at Sartorius, the mix of young talents and experienced professionals is crucial for the company’s success. With around 38% the majority of employees are between 30-39 years old. Nearly 24% are 40-49 years, around 22% are 50 years or older and a bit more than 16% are 29 years or younger. This means, at Sartorius, "baby boomers", Gen X, Y and Z work side by side to create innovative solutions for our customers. While our young colleagues value the experience and knowledge of our more seasoned employees, our experienced professionals welcome the fresh perspectives and insights of our juniors. This collaborative environment fosters continuous learning and growth for the benefit of our teams and customers alike. Learn more about diversity at Sartorius: www.sartorius.com/diversity

First quarter results in line with expectations "In the first quarter we largely saw the projected muted start to the fiscal year and a mixed picture overall: Orders in our core business with consumables are picking up noticeably, signaling an advanced stage of inventory reduction on the customer side. Business with customers working on cell and gene therapies, which is a major strategic focus for us, is also developing well, although this still very young field generally sees somewhat higher volatility. In contrast, customers, particularly in China and to some extent also in Europe, showed a pronounced reluctance to invest, which had a significant dampening effect on our equipment business," said CEO Joachim Kreuzburg. ➡ Q1 results in line with expectations ➡ Recurring business with significant order growth ➡ Inventory reductions at customers further advanced ➡ Demand from China remains weak ➡ Outlook for full year confirmed Read media release: https://lnkd.in/eut26Pcm
