We're proud of our long-standing partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), which began over 10 years ago. Our executive leadership recognized the vital importance of this training, especially as our presence in public spaces continued to grow. Site Supervisor Mildrena Ricks of the Raleigh region recently received acknowledgment for her exceptional actions when an unaccompanied child was found at her client site. Her quick thinking and attentiveness were on full display when she recognized that the child was non-verbal. Immediately, the authorities were contacted while searching for the child's guardian. Mildrena’s actions ensured the child's safety and well-being. This incident perfectly illustrates the value of our NCMEC training. All Sunstates employees are required to complete this highly interactive course as part of their onboarding.
