Pros
Their hiring process became much easier than before because they are severely understaffed due to high turnover and want to exploit more trainers with low labor costs.
Cons
1) You have to file and pay your own taxes - the owner wants to make the most out of company profit so as part of their cost-cutting, they don't hire accountants to specifically deal with our tax matters, they let the trainer do it. 2) They constantly find ways to raise the bar and make it difficult for trainers to meet those standards ( KPI ) but I understand that's normal for any company, but this company takes it to an extreme level. There is no room for mistake, you must do it right if you don't wanna get whiplashed. Talk about modern-day slavery. 3) They hold these yearly events where trainers can get together and enjoy a simple meal while watching a performance, imagine the company spending heaps of money on talent fees and whatnot instead of increasing the trainer's wages. 4) They hold yearly gatherings as a way of saying " Thank you " to their hardworking trainers, they invest a little bit of money on food, props, and recently talent. Makes me wonder why don't they just invest that in trainer's wages. Of course the CEO would argue " But we have raffle draws and give out bonuses on Christmas! " Yes indeed, but in order to qualify for said raffle draws / bonuses, the trainer would have to bust their chops ( For instance, 10 lessons = 1 entry ] to qualify for, by the way, a rigged event ( They prioritize giving awards to new hires ]. 5) They claim to be the highest paying company in the industry, They pay you 75 pesos per class ( Peanuts by the way ) and tell their trainers they should be grateful for that 75 pesos. Yet you have companies like italki who let you set your rate based on what you think your value is. 6) The CEO is starting his YouTube channel in preparation for what is to come, he realizes that he is losing all his genuine talent so he makes the hiring process cheap so that he can have more mediocre talent come in. If students are not happy with the quality of lessons, I guess they have a YouTube channel to watch? 7) Don't be fooled by the "promotion opportunities" with this company, They tie you down to fixed rates which are way lower than what you would earn as a trainer and sugarcoat it with " You're part of the management now, you won't have to talk to students that much! So in summary, I don't really have anything good to say to this company aside from the fact that if you are really desperate to find a job and have no other options, this can be a last resort for you. No hate. Just being honest.
