      Pros

-FedEx has operating companies throughout the US and across the globe, so there are lots of opportunities to do different things and meet many types of people. -Diversity and a great culture are a key focus with senior leaders. -Management is generally helpful and cares about their employees. -Growth is important to the company, so there are many opportunities to learn and grow with access to learning materials, such as books and courses.

      Cons

-Upward progression is difficult for most. -Many employees I worked with had been there for 20 or 30 years and there was little to no accountability on performance, except for a surprise layoff every 8-10 years. -Leadership teams tend to be like a grade school click and was demotivating to see others advance just because of political reasons (and not because they were actually qualified to lead). -Very little accountability from leadership teams to employees observed. -Hiring practices in my organization for the last 10+ years I was there were solely focused on only hiring young, out of college employees.

The pay and hours are great and the work is fast paced and constant.

      Cons

The managers at this location do not help with anything. If you fall behind then its on you. If you have to go to the bathroom, good luck because no one will cover for you. The managers nor the human resources care about harassment of any sort, bullying or anything that is harmful to the employees.

      Cons

i was subject to retaliation from upper management when i reported s3xism and other forms of harassment to hr. most of the operations managers and areas managers were fair and good leaders. higher than that was a bpys club. i had hopes of going full time and climbing the ladder. my previous experience was laughed at by upper managent and my accomplishments were credited to others. i have never been in a work enviroment that felt like a bar at closing time before. leering and eye balling my body up and down. very few women leaders and very few women in general. the girls in the skimpy shorts were given positions where they got to sit down and watch youtube (phones werent allowed in the building). as a woman the discrimination was obvious and have never experienced this so blatantly in any other industrial type job i have worked. HR is very closed mouth and have very little ability to change the culture. trainings were given after i made multiple complaints, but sensitivity training doesn't effect upper mangement. they know they have power to get away with it. had a manger yell at me abput my disability right in front of HR and nothing changed. eventually the stress made me so sick i had to quit. i have heard that the culture is the same in grove city, where most of these mangers came from. expect to work 4-6hrs without a break and if you slow down, a manager will come along and prod you. unless you are a young girl in hot pants. if you speak up, you will be targeted for retaliation. this site in currently under investigation with Ohio Civil Rights Commision and the EEOC.

FedEx was a pretty good company to work for. Changes happened in management including higher levels and the people below took the brunt of it. I like the diversity and the benefits that were pretty good before they took them away.

      Cons

As all large corporations, you're just a number.

      Pros

But in reality its hell. Working here is terrible, dog eat dog toxic environment. Hard being a woman here unless you know how to keep your eyes down and shut up. Constant harassment, incompetent management, and quick to fire anyone who speaks up. The work is hard the hours and pay suck. The warehouse is not directly supervised by fedex, but a "Station Manager" who has a beyond toxic personality. Every day is a challenge. Abusive Toxic environment.

      Cons

Everything about FedEx morals and ethics.
