      Brilliant Colleagues: The engineering and tech talent at the Tempe site is top-tier. You will work with very smart people who are willing to help. Strong Benefits: Competitive 401(k) and decent healthcare options once you actually get into the system. Career Growth: Honeywell is a massive name in aerospace, and having this on your resume opens a lot of doors.

      Cons

      Disorganized Hiring Process: This is the biggest pain point. The communication between HR, recruiters, and hiring managers is non-existent. You can go weeks without an update, only to be rushed for documents at the last minute. Slow Post-Offer Timeline: Even after receiving a formal offer, the "background check" and "onboarding" phase takes forever. It feels like your application disappears into a black hole. No one seems to know who is responsible for the next step or when your actual start date will be. Bureaucracy: Everything requires five levels of approval, which makes the transition from "candidate" to "employee" extremely frustrating.

      Now at 5 months on site in Ontario, CA HDOC RDC One of top three busiest sites contracted through Honeywell. -You'll gain highly advanced automated industry knowledge and become up to date with trends in automation industry so always room for growth or opportunity to move in other fields. -Opportunities to grow knowledge, attain certifications and gain high advance skills early on. -Great management with communication through phone or the website is very easy to use for anything personal, health or HR related. -Coworkers are there for you no matter what. -Worksite environment is safe and friendly when developing as a technician. -Supervisors and leads have veteran experience in automation industry especially with learning, developing and safety aspects. -Great pay and decent benefits. -Lot of overtime.

      Pros

      There are good smart people at Honeywell, and interesting projects to work on. Pay was good.

      Cons

      Benefits are terrible. Medical insurance is expensive and only pays 80% in network. The "unlimited vacation" policy is just a way to screw you over as you can't bank vacation time. There's no other perks like stock options or even employee purchased stock discount. They did pay well. The security clearance is a headache. Senior management and HR could be very cut-throat and vindictive. I saw far too many good people leave due to toxic culture.

      Poor middle management, managers typically have little to no industry experience - springboard managers just looking to make a move. Too much emphasis on CRM dashboards and pipelines , which sales people usually fudge to keep managers content, Managers will immediately throw anyone under the bus to protect themselves rather than working with a situation. you are only as good as your last quarter

      Honeywell's compensation plan is great once you reach the exclusive Band 4 level. For anyone below Band 4, it is just average compensation.

      It is very difficult to make a Band 4 level, make sure you know which band level you are at.

      The position was promised to be hybrid, IT IS NOT! We have to come in to work 5 days a week. No bonus or stock options for engineers Micro management but somehow still in shambles Toxic work environment Bad personal hygiene by some employees Furloughs! Yes, even for senior/staff engineers No work life balance
