Does IBM offer massages?
Pros
You get to switch project/products every 3 or 4 years, depending on what is trending. The projects loosely follow Agile methodologies. Saying you know Agile and GIT is a plus. Benefits are good, more options for medical insurances, IBM lags behind on onsite perks like free food, but it is trying to entice new blood to join, so there is a lot of new-hire benefits and events.
Cons
When there is layoffs, which comes every other year, it is more important to be in good terms with your management and being in the right product in the right work location. Else the layoffs come regardless of your skills. Below average salary once you've been in the company 5 years. Bad business decisions leads to layoffs. Agile methodologies means there is zero downtime between the product releases.

Does IBM offer dental insurance?
Pros
- Free training - Good benefits (health, dental, pension) - Nice office environment - More positive experiences with coworkers than negative. - Some good projects out there
Cons
- Low pay for the type of work (45k a year for software engineer is abysmal) - Some projects force you, and others pressure you: to work 7 days a week; this is illegal, and should be investigated. - Managers have very little power, and absolutely no say in what employees make. - When I started there in 2021, all new hires were making 45k, but anyone hired on in 2022 is making 50k, BUT they did NOT adjust salaries accordingly to keep up with inflation. - Very long probation period (9 months) - No overtime pay for extra work. - Very long bench period (4 months), and even after that I was just thrown at random projects - they don't really use your skillset, they just put you where they need you, even if it's with technology you never used.
Advice to Management
Invest more in your current employees to convince them to stay. Maybe raise their salaries to match the new hires, offer retention bonuses. Also, please make sure no associates are being overworked by the clients. Be more open to negotiating salaries/benefits when employees are hired on.
