What is the salary like at Twitch?

Excellent and ego-less colleagues, warm and wonderful company culture, great pay, above average understanding of DEI/identity related issues

Very large layoffs making development opportunities scarce

Good pay and benefits are the only good things

Team members sabotage each other due to stacked ranking. If you go to HR they put you on a PIP to force you out. Ladies beware many of the guys here are horrible. My experience there was a nightmare

Lack of direction from management. Being placed on projects only for these projects being trashed either right before launch or 1 month after launch. Common occurence.

Below market salary, they cut benefits in half, higher premiums, no wellness programs, limited hiring, multiple rifs, no promos, no raises or low raises. The list can go on and on. Amazons crappy culture seeping in to twitch!

The work life balance is great. The pay is good. The culture internally is very positive. After the layoffs of ~60% of the employees, it's gone from a great place to work to still being okay.

Twitch is very unclear in its direction. Upper management is poor. You're able to accomplish much less after Twitch laid off 60% of the workforce. It's becoming more and more influenced by Amazon every year.
