I was drug around from phone to email for over a month. Consistently calling the club to schedule an interview with the club manager. Consistently requesting to be hired in any position for the company. Consistently told "unfortunately since you don't have a certification we can't hire you." Though is says clear as day that no experience required and that they are just as capable to send me to the in-house training before I received the national certification. I never got called back when I was told, I never got the interviews I was promised. Then after a month of running around I finally got to meet the club manager. Which was by far the worst interview ever. They left the door open the entire time so that the noisy world of the gym echoed into the office. Consistently not paying attention to the answers I gave to the interview questions. Made me stop talking to pay attention to the gym. Invited another person into the office and then started having a conversation with them during the role-play portion of the interview. I have never felt so disrespected by a company. After the interview they invited me for a practical interview, but then still continued to push they aren't going to hire me because I don't have a certification. So, I sent an email to both the Assistant Fitness Manager and the Club Manager explaining to them that they have done nothing but continue to waste my time and drag me along through false hopes. Promising me they are hiring me to get me in the door just to turn around and say "I never said that." I will never suggest to anyone to ever work for this company. Just from one clubs impression. If that's how one club will treat a potential employees who knows what the others do.
