I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at 24 Hour Fitness (Laguna Niguel, CA) in July 2016
Interview
Applied online several times to multiple clubs, but you'll never get a call back. I finally received an email to audition because I reached out to a friend who works there. Once I showed up to the audition, they were soo rude. They did not ask any interview type questions except where else I taught. After completing the audition (which let me add, the 2 ladies talked the entire time and di not even pay attention to me) one of the ladies said they don't hire anyone who works for another gym. The other 2 girls in the interview did horrible auditions, and had no experience teaching spin.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at 24 Hour Fitness (Las Vegas, NV) in May 2014
Interview
I just showed up to an audition and taught for 3-5 minutes. Only 5 other people there, super informal and easy. Everyone else sucked, standards were super low. Don't apply online, you'll never get in. Just go to a local club and ask to speak with the group fitness manager. They can tell you when the next audition is.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They only asked when I was available and if I wanted to pick up a class or just sub.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 24 Hour Fitness (Centennial, CO) in Oct 2013
Interview
I had to know the latest 2 Les Mills releases for the formats I wanted to audition for and have at least 2 Zumba songs prepared utilizing two different core steps. We were all participants for each others auditions. It was actually a fun and encouraging experience.
