I had worked for the company prior for 13 years at Safeway Corporate and later with Albertsons Corporate, having interviews and hired many people for this company. I warn you, it’s hard to get hired here as they love to promote upwards only from an entry level position. But if you do get an interview as an outside candidate you’re likely wasting your time as the hiring managers won’t bother to review your resume, or more importantly give you a fair shot. They have a unqualified internal candidate they’re going to promote. More scary is the interview questions are scripted where the hiring manager select a few same questions to ask all candidates, really lame ones too. It becomes how best can you answer 6-8 ridiculous questions with example, result and outcome...they are trained to only listen for this...so leave your personality out of it they don’t care. No need to explain who YOU are and your awesome background. If they are listening at all...they have someone in mind already. Lol not bitter, just passing along valuable intel, and super glad I didn’t get an offer, don’t what I was thinking. Lol Just reminded me how bad Albertsons altogether and grocery industry sucks!!! Better places to make a career!
