Applied online and a few days later I got a call for a phone interview which took about 15 mins. I then took an online assessment which notified I passed immediately after completing. I was called to schedule an in person interview. It went very well. Have two interviewers who were easy to talk to and made my experience very comfortable. Interview
1. Applied through LinkedIn
2. Conducted Phone Interview
3A. In Person Interview which consisted of behavioral questions. Some of the questions were structured as times where you were unsuccessful or struggled with something. The interviewers Patti and Phillip were outstanding. They helped open up the interview from standardized questions to an actual conversation. They were very transparent about the position and were a huge part of my decision to go with Allstate.
3B. Sat down with an adjuster (immediately after in person interview) while they worked. They were kind enough to answer my long list of questions. Great to see what the actual job entails.
4. Offer (accepted)
5. Background
6. Class Start Date
Process took 2 months. Phone interview and in person interview were quick. The gap was mostly the background and available class start date.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Irving, TX) in Mar 2018
Interview
Start the process by applying online, after a few days a recruiter will reach out and schedule a phone interview. The phone interview is about 45 minutes, basic questions about resume and a couple questions that should be answered using the STAR method. After this, you are asked to complete an assessment if you pass the assessment they schedule a panel interview at the campus. The panel interview is about 1 hour, they have a couple sheets with questions that again should be answered in the STAR method. Next step is an interview with the department head and then they decide if they want to extend an offer.
