I applied through other source. I interviewed at Amelia in Dec 2019
Interview
Total 3 rounds:
- 2 Rounds for data science (DL, ML and NLP Basics )
- Data structures and algorithms.
Level of questions were moderate in all interviews. All rounds were telephonic as I was at different location.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Amelia (Bengaluru) in Feb 2020
Interview
Interview process starts with an online test, all the questions related to NLP, Machine Learning. The test was good enough. Tip : Brush up your basic regarding the topics.
I cleared the test, The very day I got a call for the clearing of the first round, and second round scheduled for the next day that will be a telephonic technical round. I cleared that too. I again got to appear for third technical round, the very next day, I also cleared that. I was overwhelmed. Then then my final manager round was scheduled on the very next day of my third interview. But, just before 6mins of my final interview, I was called by the HR that Manager is busy and they told me to lets shift to Monday, I said okay. But, then no mails no calls from Monday from their end. I was so disheartened. I tried to reach the HR through mails, calls, But he was so irresponsive of the fact.
And then when I called HR from my dad's phone, he said that Manager decided to take internal hiring.
I mean how disgusting these people are, not even thinking that they gave some positive hopes to someone, and they shattered it in a single blink.
I was so shattered after this.
Despite of few bad comments on Glassdoor, I still believed in the Company. And honestly I gave my interviews and qualified each one of them, but as a result, they broke me completely.
Bad experience with Ipsoft :/

Question 1
Binary Tree problem statement for finding the relation between the nodes specified.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amelia (Bengaluru) in Feb 2017
Interview
3 rounds for people not in Bangalore (1 telephonic + 2 Skype/Office). 2 rounds for those in the city ( Both in their office)
I had two rounds as I was from Bangalore itself.
First Round: Machine Learning + DSA + Coding + Project Experiences
Second Round: Machine Learning + DSA + Project Experiences
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Explain about any classifier in detail. The entire working and application of the classifier. I chose logistic regression. What do you know about temporal and non-temporal algorithms? What are Random forests and how do they work? What do you know about Neural Networks and have you implemented any? How does backpropagation algorithm work? Just show the flow and explain the algorithm. What are some of the convex optimization techniques you are aware of? Like Gradient Descent etc..
How do you choose only a subset of important features given a large set of features before training a model? What do you know about NLP and have you worked on it before? Tokenizing, NER, POS Tagging - Definitions and how are they implemented internally.
What do you know about deep learning and deep neural networks?
What are Tries and implement them efficiently on a paper. CRUD operations on Trie. Choose any programming language for this task.
Linked Lists and their applications. Detect a loop in a linked list and find a common merging point of two linked lists.
How SVM's work and explain the Math behind it. A programming question based on Dynamic Programming and clearly explain why it is not a Greedy problem. A question which required knowledge of Max and Min heaps. What have you worked on in your previous projects? What is Dynamic Time Warping?
