I applied online. I interviewed at AppDynamics (London, England) in Oct 2017
Interview
Had an interview with the recruitment program manager. Was told I would receive feedback by the end of the week and never did. The job really wasn't sold very well at all and was told how the job " was definitely not a 9-5" I find it strange when companies say things like that as if your good at your job you shouldn't need to work lengthy hours and gives a bad impression what exactly does "not a 9-5" mean? 12 hour days or just the odd evening. Fair enough if your in sales and you need to earn commission etc however if you need to stay late frequently maybe your resources are over stretched and you need to invest in your department. I think if you strive for such excellence like mentioned in the interview you should provide feedback when you state you will and if you spend so many hours in the office yet still don't find the time to do so that says you must be fairly incompetent in your recruitment team. As a recruiter myself this is a very bad candidate experience.

Question 1
What are the three most important things for you when interviewing a candidate for a sales position?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AppDynamics (London, England) in Mar 2019
Interview
Did an initial phone screen with an internal recruiter that was very conversational. She told me she would get back in touch with feedback by the beginning of the following week but never responded even when I sent a follow up email. Almost a month later I received an automated reply from Appdynamics saying I had not been successful. The recruiter never had the decency to follow up as promised, bad process.
Thanks for sharing feedback on your phone interview experience at AppDynamics. We always strive to give our candidates a great candidate experience, so your feedback will be used to improve the process in the future.
