Attended the final round virtual on-site interview, which consisted of a series of one-on-one sessions over 8 hours in one day. The interviewers were generally friendly, and the questions were predominantly technical.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One question that stood out was about two beams with different coefficients of thermal expansion connected at the top and bottom. The interviewer delved into detailed analysis of the resulting stress distribution, asking, for example, whether the surface would be free of stress.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple in June 2022
Interview
Direct technical questions, no behavior questions at all. Very professional, and they want people with industrial experience. They will ask you about your experience, but it's very short. Basic questions about the finite element method will be asked, such as what is finite element.
