The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Apple (Montreal, QC) in June 2010
Interview
I applied for a job at Apple online, about a month later i got an email from the human resources manger at my local retail Apple store inviting me to take part in a recruitment seminar. When i got to the store around 30 min early, i was the first one there and had asked to fill out a from which tested your knowledge of Apple products and asked you to fill in some personal information. The seminar was fun, and was informal. Next day i got a call from Apple asking me to take part in a second interview with 2 managers.
It’s a very long process so have patience. Sometimes they will give you feedback but if you are external you will just receive a turn down email. Keep applying. Apple says it’s not a NO. It’s a not now and that’s very true.
Famously competitive as always, my odds were better since I kept updating my resume whenever I was on the job search. They reached out to me first by email, I completed an application, and then had three rounds of interviews in total.
